Strength in Surrender

Psalm 46:10 "Be still and know that I am God"

Surrender is not weakness — it is alignment. It is the moment you stop wrestling with outcomes and start trusting God’s sovereignty. Most of us don’t struggle with believing God can move. We struggle with letting Him move His way. Strength begins where striving ends.

As a former Police Detective, I understood, there’s a moment in every high‑pressure situation where you must stop reacting and start assessing. Stillness is not inactivity — it’s strategy. Spiritually, surrender works the same way. When you release control, you gain clarity. When you stop forcing, you start hearing. God is not asking you to figure everything out. He’s asking you to trust Him enough to let go.

Reflection Question:

Where is God asking you to release control?
